You’re now very mature – Wright-Philips tells Man United star

Former Premier League winger, Shaun Wright-Philips has noted that Manchester United striker, Marcus Rashford is now a more mature player than what he was last year.

Manchester United started the game against Wolves on Saturday without Marcus Rashford who was dropped on the bench.

Manager Erik ten Hag said he left the 24-year-old out of his starting XI due to an ‘internal disciplinary’ issue

Rashford, who is Manchester United’s top goalscorer this season, then came off the bench in the second-half to score the winner for the Red Devils.

The England international has scored in three matches he has played since after the World Cup in Qatar and Wright-Phillips noted that the striker’s confidence has increased this term.

“A lot of those great runs he wasn’t doing. He’s actually doing it now. I just think when you’re getting to the end of them, when your confidence level is very high,” he said on Premier League Productions.

“You’re more composed, you slow down, take your time and strike. Now we’re seeing a very very mature Rashford and he’s getting rewarded for it.”
