I Will Discuss With Agitators, Obi Restates At Chatham House

The presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, has reiterated that he will discuss with agitators in the country when elected president.

He said this on Monday while speaking at the Chatham House in London about his plans for Nigeria.

Obi stated that should the United Kingdom experience 15 per cent unemployment rate, it would witness agitations also.

“If there is 15 per cent unemployment in Britain today, you are going to have massive agitations. What you are seeing is the cumulative effect of leadership failure over the years. Which will be solved by good governance. If people start seeing justice, fairness and inclusive government, all those things will start reversing itself,” he said.

Obi added, “I will talk and discuss with all agitators. There is nothing wrong with that. People agitate even in my house and I discuss with them. I will deal with everybody, I assure you of that.”

The LP candidate had in November 2022 during a chat with Daily Trust stated that he would discuss with agitators across the country.
