Ten Hag names four Man Utd players that caused 1-1 draw with Crystal Palace

Manchester United manager, Erik ten Hag, has said that at least four players on the pitch should have ensured they beat Crystal Palace on Wednesday.

The Red Devils were held to a 1-1 draw at Selhurst Park, with Michael Olise’s late free-kick cancelling out Bruno Fernandes’ opener.

However, Ten Hag has insisted his players should have killed off Palace before the equalizer.

“We were 1-0 up. In the second half, we had a lot of space to kill them and go for the second. I never saw we really went for the second goal.

“It’s difficult to say [why]. I have to criticise my team.

“Go for the second. Bruno and [Marcus Rashford] on the wings, [Alejandro] Garnacho, a lot of creativity, speed and power and [Scott] McTominay with penetration behind,” Ten Hag said.
