They’re resilient, determined – Ten Hag names six great personalities in Man Utd squad

Manchester United boss, Erik ten Hag, has named six great personalities in his squad following the Red Devils’ Europa League playoff second-leg 2-1 win over Barcelona on Thursday.

Ten Heg said the six players, Lisandro Martinez, Raphael Varane, Antony, Alejandro Garnacho, Casemiro and Bruno Fernandes, are resilient and determined.

Recall that Man United defeated Barcelona at Old Trafford thanks to goals from Fred and Antony.

Ten Hag’s side advanced to the last-16 of the Europa League on a 4-3 aggregate win, having drawn 2-2 against Barcelona at Camp Nou last week.

Speaking at his post-match press conference after Man United defeated Barca: “I think we have some great personalities in the team like Rapha [Varane] and Licha Martinez, and, going forward, I said already Antony, he or [Alejandro] Garnacho don’t fear anyone.

“Bruno also, Casemiro, of course, we’ve some players with great personalities and if you get setbacks, they move on and they carry on. They’re resilient and determined.”
