Broke people should stay away from relationship — Deyemi Okanlawon

Nollywood actor, Deyemi Okanlawon, has said people that are not financially bouyant have no business getting into a relationship.

The actor made this known via a tweet on Tuesday, claiming that if one is not yet financially buoyant, it is wise to take a vacation from a “serious” relationship and focus on developing oneself.

Deyemi wrote,” If you’re not yet financially buoyant, perhaps it is wise to take a break from “serious” relationship and focus on building yourself… this message from the federal association of common sense is for men & women

“Everyone should feel free to love and date anyone at any time/stage of their lives if they so choose… but perhaps for more serious (intentional, committed) relationships you may want to approach things slightly different? 💁‍♀️.

“Financially buoyant – enough to take care of your, have some savings/assets, have some to give to those who raised you, & finally have some to spare to give ease in your relationship. No, be this level professional leeches/diggers (m/f) dey find & you sef must learn to code yourself !.”
