Popular Nigerian comedian, Maryam Apaokagi aka Taooma, continues to progress and produce humorous videos, particularly on the hilarious parenting styles of Nigerian mothers.
She emerged as the number one skit maker with the highest views on Instagram in Nigeria in the first quarter of 2023 with a total of 22.2M views, 28 skits, 2.6M likes, and 117.5k comments.
This is according to a quarterly report on the entertainment industry’s skit-making sector released on Wednesday by a digital analytics firm, Dataleum.
Following Taooma is skit maker, Bukunmi Adeaga-Ilori, aka Kiekie. She was able to amass a total of 21.4million views, 2.5M likes, 81.5k comments from 29 skits posted in the first quarter of 2023.

Throughout the Q1 in 2023, Nigerian actress, Bimbo Ademoye, gained 15.9M views, with 22 skits posted, along with 70.2k comments and 1.9M likes.
Others in the top five include Phoebe with 9.7M views, 984k likes, 50 comments with a total of 45 skits then followed by Ashmusy with 7.2M views, 607.1k likes, 26k comments and 12 skits.
