The first batch of Nigerians who were evacuated from war-torn Sudan arrived in the country late Wednesday.
The Nigerians in Diaspora Commission made this known in a terse statement on its Twitter page early Thursday.
Sharing photos of the evacuees, the commission tweeted, “The first batch of Nigerians who fled war-torn Sudan arrived via military jet C13 at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport at about 2340HRS with an estimate of 376 evacuees.”
