Plane Crash-lands At Abuja Airport

A Max Air aircraft conveying passengers from Adamawa State crash-landed after the tyre burst into flames at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja on Sunday causing panic.

The incident, which happened at the runway end, left the aircraft stranded on the runway, causing delays and disrupting the normal airport, our correspondent learnt.

The Management of Max Air announced that its flight encountered two tire bursts during landing on Sunday at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja, causing minor panic among passengers and airport officials.

According to a statement by the airline via its official Instagram page, the airline noted that all passengers disembarked safely, adding that all necessary steps have been taken to ensure that the passengers are comfortable and are being taken care of during this time.

It further appreciated the efforts of the airport management for their prompt response in ensuring that necessary steps were taken towards the safety of the passengers.
