Presidential Tribunal: Heavy Security Presence 

*as Tribunal Set to hear Obi, Atiku’s Petitions

As the presidential election petition tribunal is set to hear the Petitions of Alhaji Atiku Abubakar of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP and that of Peter Gregory Obi of the Labour Party, LP, there is Heavy Security Presence around the court of Appeal. 

Operatives of the Nigerian Police Force and Department of State Security Service are stationed both inside and outside the premises of the appellate court. 

Meanwhile, lawyers are stranded outside the court room. 

As of the time of filing in this report the courtroom to be used for the hearing of the petitions is still under lock and keys.
