126 Nigerian Evacuees From Sudan Arrive In Abuja

One hundred and twenty-six Nigerians, who were evacuated from war-torn Sudan, arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja on Tuesday.

The commission made this known via its Twitter handle.
According to the commission, the 126 are the ninth batch of evacuees to arrive in Nigeria, bringing the total number of evacuees to 1,730 so far.

The commission tweeted, “The 9th batch of Evacuees: 126 Nationals (11 minors, 41 infants, and 74 adults) that departed Port Sudan International Airport, landed at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport around 10 am local time on May 9 via Tarco Air.

“Making a total of 1,730 evacuees so far. No Nigerian life has been lost so far. #StaySafe.”
