128 Nigerian Evacuees From Sudan Arrive In Abuja

One hundred and twenty-eight Nigerians evacuated from war-torn Sudan arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja on Wednesday.

The commission made this known via its Twitter handle.

According to the commission, the 128 make up the eleventh batch of evacuees to arrive in Nigeria, bringing the total number of evacuees to 1,984.

The commission wrote, “The 11th batch of Evacuees: 128 Nationals ( 117 Adults and 11 Minors ) that departed Port Sudan International Airport, landed at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport around 9am local time on May 10 via Tarco Air, making a total of 1,984 evacuees so far.

“Again, no Nigerian life has been lost so far. #StaySafe”
