135 Nigerian Evacuees From Sudan Arrive In Abuja

One hundred and thirty-five Nigerians evacuated from war-torn Sudan arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja on Thursday.

The commission in a statement via its Twitter handle said that the 135 made up the 12th batch of evacuees, bringing to a total of 2,119 evacuees that arrived in the country.

The statement read, “The 12th batch of Evacuees: 135 Nationals that departed Port Sudan International Airport, landed at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport around 5:10 am local time on May 11 via Tarco Air.”
