The University of Lagos on Monday congratulated actor Samuel Perry, aka Broda Shaggi, for winning the Best Actor in a Comedy category at the 2023 Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards.
The institution revealed this in a post shared on its Instagram page on Monday.
Shaggi won best actor in a Comedy Drama, Movie or TV Series’ category with his role in the movie “Inside Life.” in the award ceremony held Saturday, May 20.
Sharing the actor’s picture, the institution wrote, “Hearty Cheers 🥂to one of our own #brodashaggi (Samuel Animashaun Perry) for emerging the winner in the category of Best Actor in a Comedy (Drama/Movie/TV Series) at the 9th edition of the African Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA), held on Saturday, May 20, 2023.
