The Katsina State Pilgrim Welfare Board said all arrangements have been concluded for the airlift of 2023 intending pilgrims to Holy land of Mecca.
The Executive Director of the board, Alhaji Suleiman Nuhu Kuki made this known Tuesday at the 2023 Hajj stakeholders meeting held in Katsina.
He commended the stakeholders for their support and dedication during last year’s Hajj operation and urged them to sustain the tempo.
Also speaking, the representative of the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria NAHCON, Kano Zonal office, Bashir Lawal Dutsinma said that the first batch of intending pilgrims from Nasarawa State will depart Nigeria to Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on 25/5/2023.
In their separate remarks, the representatives of Max Air, Customs, Immigration, Police as well as Port-health, among others, spoke extensively on their preparedness of their respective agencies for exercise.
In a related development, the Katsina State Pilgrim Welfare Board Public Relations Officer, Badaru Bello Karofi in a statement said the commission has distributed hand luggage and uniforms to the intended pilgrims.
