The Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has hailed the outgoing President Muhammadu Buhari ahead of the handover of power to President-elect Bola Tinubu.
Sanwo-Olu, who appreciated Buhari for his national honours, also wish the president well in his future endeavors.
The governor made this known in a tweet on Monday.
He wrote, “It was indeed an honor, as I was conferred with the title of Commander of the Order of Niger.
“A big thank you to the President, His Excellency, President Muhammadu Buhari, for deeming it fit to bestow upon me, this National honour.
“I wish you well as you formally hand over the mantle of leadership to the President-elect, today Monday, the 29th.”
