Photographer Sues Kanye West For Assault, Battery

American Rapper, Kanye West, is getting sued for assault, battery and negligence by a photographer whose phone he grabbed and threw away, back in January.

According to TMZ on Thursday, the photographer, Nichol Lechmanik, is suing West for assault, battery and negligence, according to the lawsuit obtained by the news platform.

Lechmanik also demanded an injunction blocking West from touching, annoying or threatening not just herself, but any photographer.

In January, Kanye had a heated exchange with Lechmanik, which escalated to the point of Kanye grabbing and throwing the woman’s phone.

In the video captured by the photographer’s business partner, Kanye approached her as she sat in the driver’s seat of her car, recording him with her phone and yelled, “You all ain’t gonna run up on me like that! If I say stop, stop with your cameras.”

Then he grabbed her phone out of her hands and tossed it.
