Pascal Ibe joins over 300 journalists, policymakers in CJID’s first ever conference in West Africa

Pascal Ibe, an investigative journalist with CrimeFacts.news will participate in the first ever West Africa Journalism Innovation Conference (WAJIC), organized by the Centre for Journalism Innovation and Development(CJID).

The West Africa Journalism Innovation Conference (WAJIC), will hold from 24th to 26th July 2023.

Out of over 700 persons who requested for the conference across West Africa, Pascal was among the 300 journalists and policymakers who will participate in this 2023 conference.

The theme of this conference is “Accountability Journalism: Nurturing Innovation for a Sustainable Future.”

This conference seeks to drive discussions on the various aspects of journalism practice while focusing on the best ways to drive impactive innovations that could help establish more accountability in the West African democratic society.

Pascal said that the conference will offer him the opportunity to learn new ideas in journalism and beyond.
