Cross River Government Imposes Dusk-To-Dawn Curfew In Bakassi, Akpabuyo LGAs

Governor Bassey Otu of Cross River State has imposed a dusk to dawn curfew in Bakassi and Akpabuyo Local Government Areas of the State.

The curfew which starts today 3rd July 2023 is between 7 o’ clock in the evening to 6 o’clock in the morning.

This, according to a statement by the secretary to the state government Prof Anthony Owan-Enoh is to ensure safety of lives as well as forestall a breakdown of law and order following security threat within the two local government Areas.

Consequently, movement of people and vehicles would be restricted during the curfew hours and the members of the public are advised in their own interest to adhere strictly to this directives.
