As the race for the November 11 governorship election in Kogi State gathers steam, The House Of Representatives Member Representing Ajaokuta Federal Constituency, Hon Sanni Abdulraheem met with Ajaokuta steel township elders and youth forum to canvass support for the Kogi State APC Gubernatorial Candidate Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo .

Hon Sanni Egidi Abdulraheem, who is also the Director; Contact and Mobilization, Kogi State Governorship Campaign Council, while speaking at the interactive session with the elders and youth, noted the peculiar nature of the forthcoming election, and emphasized the need for all hands to must be on deck to ensure maximum votes for the party in the state.

Hon Abdulraheem, who described Ododo as the best for the state among the candidates parading themselves for the coveted seat; said: “For the continuity agenda of Governor Alhaji Yahaya Bello to be sustained, Ododo remains the best man to sustain this legacy. Any disconnection may affect the development focus of our dear state.

“With his experience spanning over 7 years in the system, we believe that he has the experience , the exposure and right connections to take Kogi to a higher pedestal banking on what Governor Bello has done as a springboard, so on this note am urging us all to embark on issue based campaign and canvass votes for our candidate.

“It is important for us to run a campaign that is scientific, a campaign that is violence free, a campaign that is driven by issues and promises that we will be able to fulfill, most importantly victory of our party should be our focus and for us to achieve this, we must remain united and be careful about what we say about each other, because opposition parties will be waiting to catch-in on that.” He said.

While responding in separate remarks the elders and youth forum appreciate Hon Sanni Abdulraheem for the recognition giving to them so far, promised to canvass and reach out to every concern voters within Ajaokuta Steel Township in ensuring overwhelmed victory for APC and her candidate ODODO.
