Afrobeat star, Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, has held a candlelight procession for his late mother in Lagos.
In the pictures and videos circulating social media on Wednesday night, the singer could be seen in the company with relatives and fans during the procession.
The PUNCH reports that Wizkid’s mum, Jane Balogun, died on Friday, August 18, 2023.
According to details provided on a viral flyer, the wake and tribute will be held in her honour on Thursday, October 12, while the funeral will take place on Friday, October 13.
