What Alia is doing at the Benue Appeal Court

By Aare Abiodun Oluwarotimi

The governor of Benue state, Reverend Father Hyacinth Alia has started moving from North to the South to ensure that judgement is given in his favour. He has secretly travelled to Abuja two times this week to beg the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume to assist him in talking to the judges who have refused to take financial gratification from him to bend the judgement.

Tatafo within the circle of Senator George Akume hinted that the SGF has refused to meet the embattled governor who he described as “reliable’

“Oga (SGF) is frustrating them seriously. He is making things difficult for the governor to get favours from the judges even though he (Alia) had sent stakeholders from Benue state to beg on his behalf” one of the sources said.

At a point, one of the judges wondered why the governor is offering money for judgement even when he doesn’t have details of the judgement maybe it is positive or negative.
