Strategic Development: Kaduna, FCDO Sign pact on accountability framework

The Governor of Kaduna State, Uba Sani in a landmark deal, officially sealed the Kaduna Mutual Accountability Framework (KaMAF) in collaboration with the Foreign, Commonwealth, and Development Office (FCDO).

The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) which took place on Thusrday, signifies a strategic alliance to propel Kaduna into a model of development for Northern Nigeria.

Development Director of FCDO, Cynthia Rowe, expressed optimism about the seamless implementation of KaMAF, citing the Kaduna State Government’s unwavering commitment.

The framework extends its reach across crucial sectors such as Education, Agriculture, Health, and Human Capital Development, aligning closely with the Kaduna State Development Plan 2021 – 2025 and the SUSTAIN Agenda’s seven pillars.

What sets this collaboration apart is the comprehensive approach, aiming not only to improve coordination between the Donor Community and Kaduna State but also to support the delivery of the state’s development plan.

Governor Sani emphasized his administration’s dedication to concrete reforms that promote good governance, peace, security, poverty reduction, and economic recovery.
