Nine Passengers have kidnapped in Oshokoshoko, along Kabba-Obajana-Lokoja road in Kogi state.
It was gathered that the driver of the vehicle was abducted alongside two students, four men and two women.
The unfortunate incident happened on Saturday evening while victims were travelling from Kabba to Lokoja.
Recall that two buses belonging to God Is Good (GIG) transport and Logistics company and the ABC transport company were highjacked while heading to Abuja by Kidnappers in Kogi state about two weeks ago when the passengers were kidnapped and taken into the bush.
Elupo Eliazer, a person with disability whose wife is among the victims, stated that the kidnappers initially demanded 30 million but later reduced it to 2.6 million after negotiation.
“My wife and I were traveling to attend our church convention scheduled for Lokoja, but I decided to follow a different vehicle as the Toyota could not contain all of us; otherwise, I would have been in the car with her,” he said.
He said that the vehicle his wife boarded was ahead of the one he was travelling in but all the occupants of the vehicle were marched into the bush by the time his own vehicle got to the spot.
As at press tine the State Police Public Relations Officer, SP William Aya, promised to find out and get back with the details later.
