ASKOJ Pays Courtesy Visit to DG, Kano Govt House, Lauds his Media Capacity

The Association of Kano Online Journalists (ASKOJ), on Tuesday paid a courtesy visit to the Director General of Kano State Government, Alhaji Sanusi Bature Dawakin-Tofa, in his office.

While speaking, ASKOJ Chairman, Mallam Salisu Yakubu noted that the visit was geared towards cementing the good relationship that has been existing between the association and the DG, even before the coming on board of the present administration of Governor Abba Yusuf Kabir’s administration.

Yakubu then lauded the DG’s capacity in ensuring his principal, the Governor of the State Abba Kabir Yusuf is positively represented in the media through his numerous achievements since inception.

According to him, Sanusi Bature remains the best man for the job and his the Governor was meticulous in his appointment which has been a very good one.

He added that ASKOJ would not relent to propagate the good jobs of the administration of Governor Abba to not just the people of Kano State, but Nigeria as a whole.

Reacting, the DG commended the professionalism of ASKOJ, adding that good number of its members have been in the struggle with him, especially during the electioneering campaigns of Governor Abba Yusuf Kabir.

He then vowed that he will continue to support the association in dispensing its professional responsibilities.
