Tinubu presides over FEC meeting

President Bola Tinubu is currently presiding over the Federal Executive Council, FEC meeting.

The meeting is taking place at the Council Chambers of the State House, Abuja.

Vice President Kashim Shettima; Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF, George Akume; the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Dr Folashade Yemi-Esan; and the Chief of Staff to the President, Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila are all in the meeting.

The National Security Adviser, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu and Minister of Police Affairs, Ibrahim Geidam, are, however, absent from the meeting.

Recall that the Minister of Information and National Orientation, Mohammed Idris had disclosed after the last council meeting two weeks ago that President Tinubu vowed that all the recent kidnap victims would be rescued without ransom.

He also disclosed that the government reviewed the security support offered by the United States and other countries.
