The Bauchi State government has confirmed the appointment of Auwal Musa Gotel as the Chairman of Nigeria National League side, Wikki Tourists.
Gotel was formerly overseeing the affairs of the Bauchi Elephants on an interim capacity.
Other members of the newly appointed management committee’s are Umar Saidu, Dauda M. Chiroma, Lawal Garba Dass, Sadiq Yusuf and Alhassan I.Muhammed. Sa’adu Chadi will serve as the secretary.
The Governor of the State, Bala Muhammed Abdulkadir Gidado confirmed the appointment in a statement sent to the club.
The statement confirmed that the appointments were based on merits.
Wikki Tourists are currently battling hard to qualify for the NNL playoffs.
They are second on the NNL table with 23 points.
