Daga, Izuogu return to Enyimba after African Games duty

Daniel Daga and Chibueze Izuogu have returned to Enyimba after representing Nigeria at the African Games 2023 in Accra, Ghana.

The two players were part of the Flying Eagles squad that took part in the men’s football event.

Izuogu scored once for the Flying Eagles, while Daga was a key figure in midfield.

The Flying Eagles recorded just one win in three games exiting the competition at the group stage.

Enyimba fared well in their absence continuing their push for a record 10th Nigeria Premier Football League title.

Daga and Izuogu are in contention to face Abia Warriors in the Abia State Federation Cup final on Sunday.
