Odegaard warns Arsenal team-mates about one Bayern Munich player

Arsenal captain, Martin Odegaard has warned his team-mates to “respect” Harry Kane ahead of their Champions League quarter-final clash with Bayern Munich.

The Bundesliga champions travel to London for the first leg of the tie with the Gunners after losing to newly-promoted Heidenheim on Saturday.

However, Kane has been in brilliant form in his first season at Bayern, scoring 38 goals in 37 games, while also providing 12 assists.

Odegaard was asked if Arsenal should fear Kane, and the midfielder replied: “I think we should respect him, but I don’t think we should fear anyone.

“And we should focus on ourselves and the quality we have in our team, and that is all.

“[Kane is] a good player, of course, and I have played against him a few times and we know the quality he has in the box and he is also good in the link-up [play]. We are facing a good team on Tuesday.”

While at Tottenham, Kane faced Arsenal 19 times and scored 14 goals.
