EFCC arrests nine suspected internet fraudsters

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has arrested nine suspected internet fraudsters in Rivers State.

The Commission made this known in a statement on its X page on Thursday.

EFCC said the suspects were arrested following actionable intelligence on their suspected involvement in internet-related offences.

Different brands of mobile devices, laptops, two cars and several incriminating documents were recovered from the suspects.

The anti-graft agency said they will soon be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.
