He was greedy twice – Tuchel blames Bayern player for draw with Real Madrid

Bayern Munich manager, Thomas Tuchel, has blamed Kim Min-Jae for their 2-2 draw with Real Madrid, in the first leg of their Champions League semi-final on Tuesday.

Vinicius Jr received Toni Kroos’ pass behind Min-Jae to open the scoring at Allianz Arena.

After Leroy Sane and Harry Kane scored for the Bundesliga giants, the defender fouled Rodrygo and gave away the penalty.

Vinicius Jr stepped up again and slotted his spot-kick pass Manuel Neuer.

Tuchel, speaking on Min-Jae after the game, said: “He was too ‘greedy’ twice.

“He made the first move too early against Vinicius in the first goal and got caught by Toni Kroos’ pass. He speculated and was too aggressive.

“In the second goal, unfortunately, it was another mistake.”
