My responsibility – Postecoglou on beating Man City for Arsenal to win title

Tottenham Hotspur manager, Ange Postecoglou, has insisted his team is motivated to try and beat Manchester City, even though it could hand the Premier League title to rivals, Arsenal.

Spurs could play a crucial part in where the trophy goes, as they host the champions on Tuesday.

A win for Postecoglou’s men could effectively hand the Gunners a first league title since 2004.

But Postecoglou is adamant his team won’t roll over against City.

“I’m here fighting tooth and nail every single day for everything I can get for this football club because that’s my responsibility.

“I would not give up on any cause even the most lost of causes because then I’d be abstaining from my responsibilities.

“I want us to finish the season strong. I want us to try and win three games of football and see where that takes us,” he told reporters.
