Trabzonspor, Southampton in talks over Onuachu’s permanent deal

Trabzonspor are negotiating with Southampton over the permanent transfer of forward Paul Onuachu.

Onuachu joined Trabzonspor on a season-long loan deal last summer.

The 29-year-old has made a significant impact at the club, netting 14 times and providing four assists in 20 league appearances.

Trabzonspor are determined to keep the Nigeria international at the club.

According to Ntvspor, Trabzonspor President Ertuğrul Doğan is already in talks with Southampton to get the deal done.

Southampton are demanding €15 million to sell the striker permanently.

Onuachu linked up with Southampton in January 2022 but struggled to make a meaningful impact at the South Coast club.
