Simon Cletus was named Man of the Match following Golden Eaglets’ 0-0 draw against Burkina Faso on Thursday.
Cletus impressed with his superb display at the Eaglets midfield.
The Mavlon FC midfielder was close to scoring the winning goal for Nigeria in the 65th minute.
The Golden Eaglets dominated the encounter against Burkinabes but couldn’t really carve out any meaningful clear cut chances.
Manu Garba’s boys will now shift attention to their second group game against Niger Republic on Sunday.
The encounter will hold at the University Stadium, Accra.
