One Year in Office: Tinubu set to commission projects in Abuja

President Bola Tinubu is set to begin the commissioning of projects executed by the Federal Capital Terrority Administration, headed by FCT minister Nyesom Wike, in Abuja.

The projects commissioning is part of activities slated to mark the one year anniversary of the Tinubu administration.

To this end, the President has departed the Presidential Wing of the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos, where he had been on a working visit.

As at 11:25 am, he was seen off by the Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Chief of Staff to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila and some government officials.

While in Lagos, the President performed the official flag-off of the construction of the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway from the Victoria Island end of the 700 kilometer project.

He also commissioned the reconstructed Apapa-Oworonshoki-Ojota Expressway and the Rehabilitated Third Mainland.

Tinubu, in the same vein, virtually commissioned the rehabilitation of 330 roads and bridges across the country.

When he returns to Abuja, the President would commission the Southern Parkway from National Christian Centre to Ring Road One, among other infrastructural projects.
