Ujah joins Bulgarian Club, Botev Plovdiv on free transfer

Nigeria forward, Anthony Ujah has joined Bulgarian club, Botev Plovdiv on a free transfer, according to reports.

Ujah was released by Bundesliga 2 club, Eintracht Braunschweig on Wednesday.

The 33-year-old is the club’s fourth addition following Alexa Marash, Alain Koroshets and Hans Christian Bernat’s arrival.

“We are delighted to welcome Anthony Uja to Botev (Plovdiv),” Artur Platek told the club’s official website.

“He brings with him a wealth of experience from the top levels of German football, boasting matches in both the Bundesliga and Second Bundesliga on his calling card.

“His proven footballing qualities and ability to score will certainly help us to improve.”
