Big Brother Naija reality star Tochi Oke has alleged that 37 rainmakers were contracted to prevent rain from disrupting Afrobeats singer, Davido’s wedding in Lagos on Tuesday.
According to him, the rainmakers were holding the rain in Lagos Island.
On his X handle, Tochi wrote: “37 rainmakers are currently holding the rain in Lagos island… [hash tag] Chivido2024.”
According to reports that Governor Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke, former President Olusegun Obasanjo, former Akwa Ibom State governor, Udom Emmanuel, Seyi Tinubu, Obi Cubana, and the Ooni of Ife, HRH Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi were among the dignitaries at Davido and Chioma’s lavish wedding on Tuesday.
During the wedding, Davido assured Chioma’s parents that their daughter would be protected and respected in their union.
He added that he promised her “a lifetime assurance”.
