Como’s co-owner and assistant manager, Cesc Fabregas, wants to sign former Manchester United defender Raphael Varane.
According to football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, Como’s dream target for the centre back position this summer is Varane.
Varane is currently a free agent after leaving Man United following the expiration of his contract at the end of last season.
The former Real Madrid star has been linked with a host of European and abroad clubs.
The Frenchman is expected to decide his future in the coming days.
“Como’s dream target for the centre back position is Raphael Varane as a free agent,” Romano tweeted last night.
“Cesc Fabregas wants Varane and they will try to make it happen, but there are several clubs interested in Europe and abroad — not an easy one.
“Varane will decide his future soon.”
