Super Eagles to face Benin, Libya, Rwanda in AFCON 2025 qualifiers

The Super Eagles of Nigeria have been drawn in Group D of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

In the group are Benin Republic, Libya and Rwanda.

Benin Republic, handled by former Super Eagles head coach, Gernot Rohr defeated Nigeria 2-1 in a 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier last month.

The Bees of Rwanda are also in the same group.

The draw ceremony took place in Johannesburg, South Africa on Thursday afternoon.

The qualifiers will kick off in September and will run through November 2025.

The competition will be played between December 21 and January 18, 2026.
