St. Augustine of Hippo Catholic Parish Inaugrates new PPC

St. Augustine of Hippo Catholic Parish, Dutse Sagbagyi has inducted new Parish Pastoral Council members into office by the Parish Priest, Rev. Fr Emmanuel Balla.

The Executive Council of the new Parish Pastoral Council include:

  1. Daniel Sunday Omachi – Chairman
  2. Jude Chukwuemeka V. Chairman
  3. Engr. Martins Ibah Secretary
  4. Surv. Peter Ezema Nduka Asst. Secretary
  5. Mrs. Flora Ihekuna PRO
  6. Mr. Ferdinand Achine member
  7. Mrs. Ann Okoye member
  8. Mrs. Leah Enemmoh member
  9. Engr. Philip Ushie member
  10. Mrs. Grace Okolie member

In his homily, Fr. Balla admonished the new Council to allow the Word of God permeate every aspect of their life. He called on them to live good lives and make Christ the center of everything they do as Councilors.

Fr. Balla task the newly elected members of the PPC to work together with the parish Priest, all other committees in the church for the greater glory of God the the Church.

in his acceptance speech, Daniel Sunday Omachi, the vice chairman of the new council pledged the new Council will do the best within the powers vested in them to Develop the Church.

He appeals to the parishioners to support and come on board with ideas as it’s not the members who are smarter and more knowledgeable.

He also pledged to work faithfulness and diligence for a better Church.
