Seek God’s face in difficult times – Osun Sheikh Animashaun

The Grand Imam of Osun State, Sheikh Musa Animashaun has advised the Muslim faithful to seek the face of God.

Sheikh Animashaun gave this advice during a special prayer organised in Osogbo to seek divine intervention for rainfall.

The Muslim Ummah in the state had scheduled a special prayer for rainfall at the Osogbo Central Eid Prayer ground Oke-Baale, Osogbo on Sunday.

During the two-rakat prayer session, the Islamic cleric also prayed for God’s forgiveness and guidance.

He said, “Let us pray for Allah’s forgiveness and guidance. There is a need for us to turn to Allah during difficult times.”

Sheikh Animashaun also urged residents to engage in collective prayer, stressing that such unity is crucial in times of need.

Earlier reported that similar prayers for rainfall had been held in several states across the country, including Adamawa State.

Hundreds of Muslims, all seeking relief, had sought the face of God for divine intervention hoping for a return to prosperity.
