Swedish club, Elfsborg sign Okeke on five-year contract

Former Golden Eaglets midfielder, Victor Ozor Okeke has joined Swedish club Allsvenskan champions Elfsborg, according to reports.

Elfsborg signed the youngster from Triple 44 Academy in Nigeria.

The 18-year-old put pen to paper on a five-year contract.

Okeke impressed at the WAFU B U-17 Championship in Ghana two years ago.

He is now the second Nigerian at Elfsborg with Ibrahim Buhari already a key figure at the club.

Elfsborg currently occupy fifth position in the Swedish Allsvenskan.
