Yusuf – Super Eagles want maximum points against Libya

Super Eagles midfielder, Alhassan Yusuf says the team is going for maximum points against Libya in their 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying double-header.

Augustine Eguavoen’s side will host the North Africans at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo, on Friday.

They will travel to Benina four days later for the reverse fixture.

“We’re going for the six points (vs Libya), that’s the least target because with those points we’re already at the AFCON,” the New England Revolution star said ahead of the game.

The encounter in Uyo will kick-off at 5pm Nigeria time.

Nigeria top Group D with four points, while Libya have one point.
