PDP Governors condole with Makarfi over son’s death

The Peoples Democratic Party Governors’ Forum, PDP-GF, has commiserated with a former Governor of Kaduna State, Ahmed Makarfi, over the death of his son, Faisal.

The forum Chairman, Governor Bala Mohammed of Bauchi State, made the condolence in a statement issued by its Director-General, Emmanuel Agbo, on Monday in Abuja.

Recall that Faisal, the eldest son of the former governor, died in a car accident on the Kaduna-Zaria highway on Saturday evening.

Mohammed also condoled with the Makarfi family, friends and the people of Kaduna State over the irreparable loss.

He said the party joined Makarfi, a former Chairman of the PDP National Caretaker Committee and incumbent Secretary of the party’s Board of Trustees, BOT, at this moment of grief.

The governor noted that though Faisal had gone too soon, he lived and passionately utilised the opportunities that each day presented, taking nothing for granted.

He prayed to God to grant the Makarfi family the fortitude to bear the loss and to rest the soul of the departed.
