At a special thanksgiving Mass at St. Augustine of Hippo Parish, Dutse Sagbagyi, Abuja, the Parish Laity Council, Sebastian Obinna Izu tie the knot with his heartthrob Augustina.

The wedding officiated by the Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Emmanuel Bala said as they stand before the church today, surrounded by their loved ones, they should always be reminded of the sacred vows they take.

Rev. Fr Bala said Marriage is a beautiful journey, but it requires effort, commitment, and patience.

“In today’s busy world, it’s easy to get caught up in work, social media, and other distractions. Make time for each other, and prioritize your relationship.

According to the clergy, he reminded the newly couple that as people of faith, they should at all times remember to keep God at the center of your marriage.

He advised them to pray together, seek guidance from Scripture, and trust in His plan for their lives.

Fr. Bala reminded all married couples that marriage is a journey, not a destination. It takes work, commitment, and patience. But with love, respect, and a willingness to grow together, you can build a strong and lasting foundation for your marriage.
