Nigerian Upcoming Artist Uviboy Tops American Music App


A fast upcoming Nigerian Artist, Uviboy has topped the popular American Music App with the song “Miss Road”


“Miss Road” was said to be a song inspired by Dr. Ejiro Otive-Igbuzor’s novel “Trophy Husband” which tells the excruciating pain of a heartbreak and betrayal, coupled with the shame of being mocked and scored by society thereby leading a girl to make an irrational marriage decision.

The artist who often describe and introduce himself on stage as “Uviboy the Rap Priest AKA half human half rapper, AKA Dopest Rapper Alive DRA is officially known as Uvie Otive-Igbuzor, a Nigerian gospel rap artist dedicated to conveying impactful messages to his generation through music.

An Economics graduate from Baze University in Abuja, Uviboy has been active in the gospel music scene for several years.

His discography includes tracks like “Thank God,” featuring Rukky, released in 2018
GOSPELLYRICSNG and “Robbery,” a cypher involving multiple artists, released in 2020 KIKI


He has also collaborated with his sister, Rukky, on various projects, including a celebratory song titled “MIMAMA”
