Most Nigerian artists lazy, lack stage presence like Juma Jux- Chioma Ikokwu

Socialite Chioma Ikokwu, also known as Chioma Good Hair, has expressed admiration for Tanzanian singer Juma Jux’s stage presence, wishing Nigerian artists would put similar effort into their performances.

Ikokwu criticised many Nigerian artists for being lazy, lacklustre and lacking rehearsal and substance, feeling it’s unfair to their dedicated fans.

While acknowledging some performers excel, she believes the majority fall short and shouldn’t be on stage.

She wrote on Snapchat: “I wish Nigerian performers would start putting more effort into their performances like Juma did. I find a lot of their performances lazy and lacklustre. It lacks rehearsal & substance. And it’s unfair considering the love their fans show.

“Don’t get me wrong. Not all of them are bad. The good ones are very, very good, but trust me, the majority are terrible and have no business on stage”.
