Dr Kingsley Amafibe, a visionary whose rise from humble beginnings to global recognition in the world of event management and humanitarian service, is nothing short of inspirational.
Amb. Amafibe’s story is a compelling narrative of resilience, creativity, and consistent growth. He began his career with Alpha Plus Mega Magazine, where he honed his skills as a publisher and media professional, interviewing prominent personalities across Nigeria and covering numerous humanitarian-focused events This foundation laid the groundwork for what would become an influential career in event planning, showbiz, and public relations.
His major breakthrough came with the establishment of the Miss Ambassador for Peace Pageant, one of Nigeria’s most prestigious beauty pageants, especially within Abuja’s high society. Over the years, the pageant has not only attracted the crème de la crème of Nigerian society but has also produced queens who are making significant impacts in their respective fields globally.
Reflecting on his journey, Amafibe remarked, “That event was an eye-opener for me. It showed me the power of using platforms like pageants to not only entertain but inspire and empower. I’ve trained countless personalities, and I’m committed to doing even more for society.”
Driven by a passion for peace and human development, he expanded his vision by founding the Peace Achievers International Conference and Awards a platform that has now evolved into a globally recognized celebration of individuals making meaningful contributions to peace and development. From Nigeria to Europe and beyond, the initiative has left a lasting imprint, uniting thought leaders, entertainers, and policymakers under a common goal of societal transformation.
Amafibe’s humanitarian efforts are far-reaching. His outreach programs have impacted thousands of school children and vulnerable youths across Nigeria, providing support, mentorship, and empowerment tools. To further globalise this impact, he launched the 100 Most Notable Peace Icons Africa, an international recognition platform that recently held a prestigious edition in Rwanda, celebrating emerging leaders and established changemakers across Africa continents.
“I’m proud of how far we’ve come,” Amafibe shared. “Starting from scratch and building something globally recognised is no easy feat. But with consistency, grace, and an unshakable belief in purpose, we’ve been able to make a difference. Our next stop is Morocco, and I believe it will be even more phenomenal.”
