Reekado Banks fires back at ‘failed artist’ comment from a troll.

Afrobeats singer Reekado Banks has responded to criticism on social media after a user commented that he turned to church because he ‘failed’ in his music career.

The comment followed a viral video of Reekado Banks worshipping with content creator Kesari, whom he had invited to his church after Kesari expressed interest in deepening his faith.

Reekado Banks, in a video, debunked the negative remark, stating that his faith is a personal decision unrelated to his career trajectory.

“Yeah, Forget that guy whose comment brought me down today. My friend even called to tell me to delete it. Forget you. So yesterday , I invited Kesari to church today I’m seeing it on twitter and stuff and a comment u see the post was when they fail at music they start going to church. Bro na your house make I come ?”, he said.

He emphasised that choosing to serve God doesn’t reflect failure in music or any other aspect of life.

The singer reassured fans that he remains active in the music scene and continues to create new sounds.

Reekado Banks encouraged followers not to be swayed by online negativity, instead prioritising their peace and personal growth.
