The Northern Inter-Tribal and Inter-Religious Alliance for Peace, Unity and Development has unequivocally thrown its full political weight behind the presidential declaration of Honourable Dr. Chukwuemeka Nwajuba on the platform of the African Democratic Congress (ADC).
In a statement made available to newsmen by Prince Ekpo Edache, on Tuesday in Abuja, the Alliance states, “Without reservation, Dr. Nwajuba’s entry into the 2027 presidential race is not only timely but long overdue, coming at a critical juncture when Nigeria can no longer afford leadership defined by sentiment, sectional interest, or recycled incompetence.”
“Nigeria today stands at a crossroads. The nation requires a decisive, intellectually grounded, and nationally acceptable leader—one with proven legislative experience, executive exposure, and the courage to confront structural decay.
“Dr. Nwajuba’s record as a former Minister of State for Education and a two-time Member of the House of Representatives positions him as a serious contender prepared for the responsibilities of national leadership.”
The Alliance affirms that Dr. Nwajuba represents a new national consensus—a bridge between North and South, Muslims and Christians, youth and elders. His candidacy embodies the politics of ideas, competence, and unity, rather than the politics of division, entitlement, or desperation.
According to the Alliance, “Nigeria’s survival and progress demand leadership that can restore confidence in governance, rebuild institutions, unlock youth potential, and re-engineer the economy through knowledge, innovation, and justice. These are the pillars upon which Dr. Nwajuba’s vision rests.”
The Northern Inter-Tribal and Inter-Religious Alliance for Peace, Unity and Development therefore calls on patriotic Nigerians, traditional leaders, faith communities, professionals, youths, and women across the federation to rally behind this historic opportunity to reset Nigeria.
“This is not just another candidacy; it is a call to national rescue,” the Alliance declared.
