Wike: What else do you want? Do you want Sim to bring his wife just to prove that He’s loyal?—Anabs Sara-Igbe

According to a report by Symfomi TV, on Thursday, February 12, 2026, a prominent elder from the Niger Delta region, Anabs Sara-Igbe, has voiced a vigorous defence of the Rivers State Governor amidst ongoing accusations regarding his political allegiance.

The elder statesman addressed the swirling rumours and criticisms suggesting that the Governor has failed to maintain loyalty toward his political benefactor.

Throughout his commentary, Sara-Igbe systematically dismantled these allegations, portraying the governor as a leader who has conducted himself with remarkable decorum and focus since he took the oath of office.

He emphasised that the governor’s actions, or more specifically his restraint, serve as the clearest evidence of his commitment to stability and order within the state.

The core of Sara-Igbe’s argument rested on the observation that the governor has consciously avoided the typical pitfalls of political warfare.

He pointed out that since the inception of this administration, the state’s leader has refrained from issuing any public diatribes or disparaging remarks aimed at his detractors or predecessors.

Furthermore, the elder highlighted that there have been no directives from the governor to his followers to incite chaos or engage in aggressive political manoeuvres.

By maintaining this posture of silence and administrative focus, the governor has demonstrated a brand of leadership that prioritises the welfare of the citizenry over the ego-driven battles often seen in the Nigerian political landscape
